Our little angels...
Okay, as you can see I have moved some old pictures up to the top. I am in a photography class and the more I learn, the more I discover my mistakes. So, I have done some editing. I guess it just takes a lot of practice. :)

Playing the Piano

We have been searching for an inexpensive piano for over a year now. We finally found a great deal. It arrived yesterday and has been played continuously since it entered the door. I hope our neighbors don't mind the powerful music of a two year old.

Fun Date

Brad is in Alabama working on corn mazes with his brother. The night before he left, he surprised me at the front door with a dozen roses and a babysitter. Even little Ella stayed behind. It was so much fun!!

Nauvoo Pageant
This weekend we took a trip to Nauvoo, Illinois to attend the Nauvoo Pageant. It was absolutely amazing. We spent the next day in the city of Nauvoo. We had so much fun. Our kids enjoyed learning about the pioneers and participating in all sorts of activities. They were soaking it all in and we were loving it. On the way home, I over heard the girls talking in the back seat of the car. Addie said, "Livi, do you remember what pioneers are?" Livi said, "I don't know." Addie said, "Livi, just try to remember that pioneers are people that walk and walk and walk." I thought it was cute.

Mississippi River

One of the highlights of our trip was definetely the Mississippi River. There were fields of Water Lillies. We fell in love with them. They would open up in the morning, it was beautiful. Brad was bound and determined to get a picture for me up close. He was told that Water Lillies can not grow in more than 18 inches of water, so knowing that the river had to be shallow, he took off on a dangerous quest to get a picture. He was balancing on logs and struggling through mud. I yelled from the car, "Be careful, but could you please get the picture of the angelic looking flower way over there." :) He about lost his life to the river, but he got the picture I was hoping for. Thanks Brad! You're the best!

Staying cool at the pool!

Wow, it is hot and humid in Kansas! We have been at our pool every day, just to keep cool. The girls love to swim. Addison just completed her 2nd week of swimming lessons. She is so proud of herself. She tries to teach Olivia all of her new moves. Brad and I love to take turns laying out on the side of the pool. I am usually the one relaxing.:) (That is why I am not in any of the pictures.) Ella, likes to lay out with me. We have loved having a pool right out our front door. We are really going to miss it when we move. So, we are enjoying it every chance we get.

Sisters in the park...
Here we are in the Capital City of Kansas! We will be leaving this state in less than a year. Brad graduates from Law School in December and plans to take the Colorado Bar in February. We can not wait to return to the Rocky Mountains!
