Bolder Boulder 10K
This is my third year running the Bolder Boulder 10K.
Over 50,000 runners gather each year to participate.
The streets are full of bizarre entertainment, slip n slides, sprinklers,
dancers, cheerleaders, treat stands and so much more. It is a blast!
This is Addison's second year running in the race.
She had so much fun. She loved running with friends.
They did cartwheels in the race &across the finish line. SO CUTE.
Cute spectators---waiting at the finish line.
Little one---she wanted to race too!
It's so much fun to run into University of Colorado's Folsom Field.
The stadium is packed with thousands of people.
They close the course at 11:30 and let the professionals run it.
It is incredible to watch them run the same course in under 30 minutes!
After the pros, there is a lovely Memorial Day program and tribute.
We are so excited for next year!

Signing Choir
Olivia, Ella and Addison had the opportunity to be in a signing choir this year.
It was so exciting for them to learn sign language through such a creative and fun process.
They signed traditional and pop culture songs, performing throughout the Denver Metro.
They worked so hard. Their performances were moving, mesmerizing and beautiful.
Can't wait for next year!
Ready to perform in their blue jeans and black shirts--SWEETIES
She would keep her little hands busy, signing in the audience.:)
She loved to watch her sisters. What a cute little spectator.

I belong to an i-n-c-r-e-d-i-b-l-e family.
This week we came together to celebrate the
life and legacy of my sweet Grandma Nelson.
She raised 8 children, one being my dad. :)
The Nelson family is very close,
we always stand together.
We laugh, we talk, we cry together.
My sisters, parents, cousins, aunts and uncles
are my closest friends on earth. Love them!!

Olivia is 8 years old!
Happy Birthday Olivia!
Olivia is an angel--an absolute sweetheart.
We love her so much!
Olivia loves to visit the American Girl store on her birthdays.
She was delighted to pick out a new doll.
She picked Molly McIntire--historical character from 1944.
Olivia LOVES her.
She was also very excited to get Marie Grace's
matching pajamas--Thanks Grandma!
Addison and Brad planned a party full of "minute to win it" games.
They planned the games together and Addison decorated. So cute.
We celebrated with 10 of Olivia's darling friends. It was so much fun.

December
What a fun and fabulous month!
Love this time of year!
We have had many visits to Santa and his workshop.
The first two weeks of December were full of Christmas performances.
Addison, Ella and Olivia danced in the Nutcracker and Festival of Lights.
They also participated in a sign language choir.
Their choir performed 5 times in December...
Butterfly Pavilion, Santa's Landing and Tree Lighting,
1 Evening performance and 2 school performances. They LOVED it.
CHRISTMAS MORNING
Olivia was SO excited to add
Marie Grace to her doll collection.
Ella with Cecile--
her FAVORITE American Girl doll
Addison with American Girl's newest
historical character Caroline Abbott.
She loves her. :)
Our little Ava woke up Christmas morning to a
new baby stroller, clothes for her bitty baby,
and a darling diaper bag with her name embroidered on it.
This was her response...I NOT LIKE IT!!!!
We laughed and laughed, silly girl.
2 year olds are adorable.
She has grown to love her baby & stroller,
but it took a day or two.:)
More highlights...
American Girl movie collection &
tickets to Broadway musical Mary Poppins.
Sweet Ella playing Tangled on the Wii.
With a broken foot 2 days before Christmas,
Rapunzel has been good company. Poor thing.
